Hello, I’m Karin.

I’m forty. I live in a small Czech town, in a little house with a garden, with my nine-year-old daughter, Ema. I work as a freelance writer and editor, and I’m finally making room for my own words alongside everyone else’s.

I’m writing my first romance novel. I love coffee, cafés, cooking, days out and the little things that make an ordinary day feel special.

I’ve been divorced for two years. Ema’s dad and I have stayed friends, and we work together as parents. I’m not actively looking for love, but I haven’t closed the door on it.

I like to listen, I can laugh at myself, and sometimes I see more potential in people than reality. I’m still learning to ask for help and to stop waiting for the perfect moment to follow my dreams.
